Can I even get the patch while bfing?

I HATED the patch!It made be sick for 3-4 days every time I put a new one on. Also it never stayed on it.

I thought the patch was taken off the market? I heard of bad things associated with it.

Ohh I would never get the patch again. It made me sick and cramp so bad. Plus, you're constanly worrying about it still being on and ugh.. I was almost willing to get prego again just to get rid of it. I had it for 8 months and was so very, very happy to get switched off it.

I've never heard of implanon?
I know its BC but how is it inserted?

I tried the patch and it worked very well. But it doesn't stay sticky so it ends up flapping some places. Also, it leaves that stickiness that is hard to wash off, on your skin.
Do realize that you are going to bleed for up to a month after a vag birth...sometimes longer. I waited a month after having my second and got on an IUD...copper seven! That is what worked really great!!!
I don't really know too much about the second one that you mentioned....but if I had to choose, I would go with the patch!!!! Never had any cramping or sickness that some of the other ladies are mentioning....everbody is different though.

I have implanon and so far love it.
It was SO easy to get put in.
I have only had it for a few weeks though.
I just wouldnt be able to remember to take a birthcontrol.

They numb your arm (worst part) and put a matchstick sized rod in your arm.

Like I said the part that hurt the most was the numbing shot.
and then for a week or so it just looked like a little bruise, of course I didnt touch it, butI am sure it would have felt like a bruise too.
