They don't tell you everything. They didn't tell me ANY risks at all about cytotec or induction. None.

I think she meant without having someone proper to assist you which could end up dangerous if an emergency occurs.

Quoting Satan:“ Loved my three epis. It was harder for me to push when i could feel them. The pain made me tense up....as ... [snip!] ... to push em right out. Nikole is the only one i had NO epi with...she took me four hours of begging to finally push her out.”

It was harder for me to push without the epis too. I was in toomuch pain and even told the doctors I couldnt do it. It hurt so bad with both I was literally screaming and in tears. When I had an epi, pushing was no problem and my son was out in like 2 pushes.

Yeah with Aidan they did the thing where they let it wear off...as soon as it wore off i couldn't do it....he took two hours to push out.
Damon and gianna both had full epis the whole way through...and took 7 and 5 minutes to push out.

They didnt tell me any higheer risk with cytotec, but I had to sign papers when I was getting induced and thats when they told me a list of stuff that could happen including death. I had to do it in all 3 of my deliveries and I was at 2 different hospitals in 2 different states, so I just assumed that they were supposed to tell you. Even before I have surgery they told me death was a risk.

They are supposed to tell you.
In fact...if something happens to you and they DIDN"T tell you then they are in violation of informed consent laws.
You MUST know what you are being given and what it can do to you.
You must also be aware of and understand all procedures unless you areunconscious

Nope, not me. They didn't even have me sign papers to be induced. I assume it was in the papers to treat me. But they never went over ANY risks with me or had me sign seperate papers.

The point about cytotec is that cervadil does the EXACT same thing and was manufactured for the purpose of cervical ripening and has less risks. There's never a reason to use cytotec in it's place.
