contractions 2-3 minutes apart.

I just got back from L&D and i was having contractions every 2-3 minutes apart. but i'm only a finger tip dilated so they sent me home.  
i went there because i thought my fluid was leaking, but it wasn't.


i didn't even feel the contractions tho, just the tightening.
so i think they might just be braxton hicks?

My doc said that if they get stronger to go back in...

anyone else have contractions and not even really notice?
hopefully they progress into something. but if not, oh well. i still have a few weeks.  

I had BH 2-3 minutes apart that didn't hurt....just tightening...than I went to bed and woke up with the REAL ones! I was dialated to 6 by the time I made it to the hospital...this was with my last baby I had this past August

when i went into PTL, they put me on the monitor and were like.. do you feel those contractions? i was like.. no??? I was having contractions like every 5-6 mins and didnt feel them one bit!

when are you due? If you want to speed up the process work on doing squats!! That can help. My water broke and had to insert cervadil to help me dialate...ugghh my labor took forever! Good luck mommy!!

November 13th. About two weeks. i'll be 38 weeks on Friday.

Oh ok well you still have time... make sure you walk a lot and do squats... and I'm sure everyone tells you the same thing...but just be patient...your baby will come when ready! My little girl was exactly 1 week early...

That's so exciting! Not too much longer! =]=]

I'm still 2 cm. and 50% effaced.. The same for 2 weeks! lol I've been getting contractions but nothing steady.

I have been 3 1/2 cm dialated for almost a month, but now am 80% effaced and contracting off and on still, But no baby yet hopefully soon just not on halloween!

I didn't feel my contractions much at all (they weren't painful) but I could see them on machine. I was at a 4 and progressing so they kept me.

To me it sounds like you were having BH. Or at least hope so-- I wouldn't want contractions that consistent without dilation.
