Down here you can get them for 3 months if for a single person. And if you have children you can get them. if you dont have a job you get the full amount. if you have a job they base it of your income and that determines what you get. But it is not as easy as people think it is they can really take you through hell. its harder keeping them then getting them.

I applied online and a worker for the state food stamp office called me and she said that if I am approved then they will give it to the local office. Do you have the # for the ingham office? I think I am clinton county..
