have the nursery completely done? I am due in 28 days and the nursery is still a mess! I want to get it done but its so hard with school and work, plus SO hasnt done anything because he wants me to "be able to put things where I want them". When did you have your done? I might take a day off this week and get it done.

Shortly after my baby shower at 32 weeks. Of course the final touches weren't done until 36 weeks or so. But by then everything was washed and things were set up. I was afraid to go into labor early and have the stress of getting his stuff ready after he was born.

I had everything set up and ready by 32 weeks. My daughter didn't sleep in it for the first 2 weeks, though. She slept next to my bed in her bassinet. Now she sleeps in her nursery in the bouncy seat. Crazy girl...

My sons room was completely done by the time I was 7 months pregnant. My husband would ahve waited longer but that's why I made him finish it so early. So it'd be out of the way. He's lazy when ti comes to stuff like that. He put together the furniture and I washed everything and put everything away. It looked like a baby already stayed there. Everything had a place. I had tons of time to reorganize the way I thought would be easier on me. xampe sleeprs and onsies went on the bottom of the changingtable. The second shelf up was the diapers, wipes, lotions, etc. I had blankets in his pull out drawyer under his bed along with his wearable blankets. His dresser was also perfectly organized and so was his closet.

Ok well I dont feel so bad now lol. Her crib is FULL of stuff. But were not gonna have her sleep in her crib for at least 6 weeks because I plan on breastfeeding and Im gonna put her in the bassinet next to the bed. But I want the nursery done before she gets here lol.

I had my sons room set up by 36 weeks but he didn't sleep in his room until he was 7 months old   He slept in his pack n play next to my bed until my family talked me into moving him into his own room. It was a super easy transition, thank god and he is much more comfy in his crib.

I had it painted and ready to go by 16 weeks. I had all the clothes washed and put away about3 weeks before I had her. I took the last 4 weeks off work so I saved all the putting away and washing for then so I had something to do.
