no..that can be so bad for their muscleslater on in life, i dont think a child that young should be worked that hard, doing sports is fine my son will, but not to be pushed so hard i think its sad, at some point you could here the dad counting im pretty sure

I guess I would be proid if I was his parents, cause that means i spent his life teaching him and controling his actions instead of watching him grow up. BUT i WOULD NOT be proud if I was another family member. I think its sick.

its a rare birth defect where babies are born with too much muscle mass...it can be detrimental to their lives later and can cause some serious condition resulting in them dying....scientist and doctors are working to fix it...he was just born like that and the dad probably takes pride in it b cuz he is so athletic but also scared cuz it can be hazardous

It seems like the dad is making him work out though. I mean you can hear him counting.

If it is a birth defect and something hazardous why would he be pushing him to do this? i would not take pride in something hazarduos to my childs health. like i said you could here him counting at some point in the video.

hmmm...I would be proud if about the gymnast part only..If my son were to get that awesome at gymnastics at that age I'd be hella proud. But i wouldn't make him lift weights and work out to build his body the way he is doing. I think thats too much

I don't necessarily think that his dad counting means he is push him to do it.... If I heard him yelling then yeah I'd think that. When I was in gymnastics my mom would count the amount of flip flops I could do in a row... she wasn't pushing me to do them... she would encourage me, there is a difference.

At 5 to have that muscle is bad for your body in the future. I saw it on a show that had that really young body builder boy on it, crazy!!

I didn't say anything about the muscle... I'm just saying the dad counting doesn't mean he is forcing him to do anything.

well his dad was pushing him to do it...it was just counting...kinda like my mom use to count how many perfect toe touches I could do without getting tired and giving up...I was watching this on 20/20 like two weeks ago about the same defect that happened to a boy in America...his dad is EXTREMELY poud and took him to an high school couch to see if he could be a potential football star and it turned out he had all the makings a 5 years old to be the best quarter back...his dad thought it was totally cool as most fathers would...but it still worried him because its not normal...thats just like the man that was SUPER tall...everyone thought he was cool and he got a lot of fame for it...but in the end his heart wound up stretching too much to try to accomodate his large size....im telling you...I watched it...its a birth defects that give children 6 pack abs and strong back muscles and super human stregnth but its a risk as well

I know if it was hazardous my husband would not be bringing my son to a highschool to see if he could be a future quarter back...my husband would think about his health before dragging a 5 year old to that shit. i think its sad IMO

ETA- if he wasnot pushing him why would he be dragging him to a HS at 5 years old anyways, what if thats not what the child wants when he is older, he has a hell of a lot of time before he has to think about HS let alone be dragged to one because daddy wants to see if he could be quarter back in 10 years.

If he WANTED to do it that is fine. I wouldn't sit there and count for him. I wouldn't push or incourage it. If he wants to do it that is fine with me and I will ALWAYS be proud of him. I think that little boy is adoreable and I don't think that his muscles being worked will have ANY negative influences to his health or muscles when he gets older. That is JMO.
