Bouncer vs. Swing

posted 27th Oct
So I might end up getting both but what would be more useful a swing or a bouncer?

We used the swing a lot more than we used the bouncer. But all babies are different.

H likes his swing better, but he sleeps in his vibrating chair at night, and also has like 3 bouncers to use when he's older.

I say both.

swing jace can only take naps in his swing..
he doesnt have anything to do with his bouncer...it was a waste of money for us

Both would come in handy.
If you travel, you could take the bouncer along with you, easier than packing up a swing.

my daughter lovessss her swing, she has 3 of them. She hated her bouncer we already got rid of it. But I've heard it the other way around.

I use the swing more than the bouncer, but I love having them both.

JJ actually gets sick of one .. then I'll start using the other,
but get a good swing. The one I got.. won't swing when I put him in it anymore.. and he only weighs like 12 lbs

She loves her bouncer!!!! she can be in there all day But the swing she will only last 5 minutes in there until she screams her head off! If we get lucky she will last about 15 mins but no longer then that! I thought she would love the swing because she likes us to rock the bouncer but..guess i was wrong haha

personally, the bouncer. it can be used ANYWHERE. you can take it into the bathroom, the kitchen, the bedroom, upstairs, downstairs, everywhere and its a safe place for baby to sit while you do other things. my daughter slept in hers for the first 2-3 weeks!!! she still sits in it ALL the time. the vibration was a savior!

I used both. Bouncer was great for sleeping, feeding in the early stages, using while awake with some toys..I needed that bouncer and am buying a blue for this baby. The swing worked for me mainly at night. The rocking soothed her to sleep and i was able to get some much needed rest. If I didn't have it I would have been awake alot more

If you know someone that has both, I would recommend borrowing them before buying. My oldest son HATED his swing but loved his bouncer and my six week old is on the same path now. I don't know what my bouncer is called but it's knee high off the ground and vibrates and I love it!!

If you HAD to pick one..swing. But both are a little useful. Sydney loves her swing..isn't too keen on the bouncer...but I do put her in it so I can get a shower!
