Baby Shower,, eek.

So i am having two showers, one here hosted bya friend, and one in a town 4 hours away where my family lives hosted by my mom and grandma.
Well, my mom asked me the other day if she could invite a couple people to my shower in town. I said sure, and asked who. She told me one friend who i am fine with, and then the other, who just happens to be my SO's ex-girlfriends mom.
They dated for 4 years, went to college together, their familieswere friends, it just kind of makes me a little uncomfortable. My SO's mom will be there, and i dont know if that will make her feel weird, considering im sure she will be shocked to see her at my baby shower lol.
Am i over thinking it or should i just go with the flow? Anyone else have someone at their shower that they were kind of uneasy being there?

sounds weird to me! I wouldn't be ok with it, but thats me.....

My mom and her are friends. My younger brother and her son have played on the same hockey team for a couple years.

That kind of sounds like the situation I was almost in....my boyfriend wanted to invite his ex bestfriend's mom to my babyshower and I guess he used to have a thing for his sister (her daughter) and she knows about it and brings it up and jokes....ugh lol she didnt come though hahaha
