sleep deprived

Is it normal to be so sleep deprived before the baby is even here? It's like I'm asleep but awake at the same time and when I wake up I'm still very tired... I just want some sound sleep! lol

very normal and you probably wont be getting sound sleep for a while after the baby is born lol

i remember bein like that, i took naps like allll the time.

I feel too sick to get into a sound sleep and before I know it, it's time to get up. I'm schooling full time and I think that has a lot to do with it but, I'm going to begin working too. I'm sure things will get worse

Yep, totally normal. And it gets worse. I can't get comfortable in bed. Some nights I sleep on the couch.

I think I slept my entire first trimester. I felt like I had the flu.

i personally hate the sleeplessness of pregnancy more than the sleeplessness of having a newborn.
so ya, it's normal.

people ask me if i'm getting sleep with having a 4 week old. i tell them it's the best sleep i've had in 3 years (pregnancy with my first, infancy with my first, pregnancy with my second...all took just about 3 years)

yep. enjoy the fact that you can rest whenever you want. that will change soon enough and your baby will determine if and when you sleep and you'll miss being able to lounge around all day! and then when you get pregnant with your 2nd, it'll seem like you don't get to rest ever. or atleast if you end up having them close together like me.

i hope i have mine on the 20th cuz it'll be our 2 year anniversary

my second was born a few hours before my wedding anniversary. if he had held out just 5.5 hours he would have been born on our 1st anniversary. although it was kind of sad because we completely forgot it was our anniversary until someone reminded us.
