Bloodwork...

When is it usually done for the first time?? I can't for the life of me remember what's standard since I didn't get mine done until, eeh, 32 weeks...ish last time. Uggh, starting to hyperventilate as I type this...

I had mine at 14 weeks.

My first appointment they gave me my lab slip and I went the next day. So 8ish weeks I think.

I had mine my first appointment and that was it.
They had to hold me down. i went into a panic attack.

Well, I had blood work at 8 weeks, when I went in for my first visit, but if you're talking about the First Screen, or whatever that test is called, I think I had the option to do that at 12 weeks (but we decided not to). That's the one for genetic testing...

I had the whole OB work up after my first appointment. I refused the quad screen, so I didnt get blood pulled agian until my glucose test.

i got mine on my first appt. i didn't know you were pg again congrats!

the 1st time? they ordered mine at my very first appt at like 6 weeks....
geez girl....dont hyperventilate.....thats not good...

Im sure it's not. I've done it a few times until my hands cramped up.....Congrats on the pregnancy btw..

With my first pregnancy, I didnt get a blood draw until the 26 week appt when they do the antibody screening/iron check.....
I declined the quad test and all that in the beginning, which would have been at week 13, and I didnt get a blood test to verify pregnancy. So that was my first one.
And then they took it again at 36 weeks I think....


With Isla I had one every week from 5weeks to 14 weeks to keep an eye on my progesterone levels, since I was on supplements so I wouldnt miscarry.  
So that sucked. lol

same here.

My 10 vials ( winces) were done at my first 12 week appointment

then none again until my glucose test
