PUPPP - Has anyone here been induced because of it?

I have had PUPPP for the longest time now.... I started to get it in my second trimester and it has only gotten worse since then.... I am 34 weeks and this damn rash is covering my entire belly, it has spread down both legs to my calves... It is starting to spread on my arms starting at my elbows and working its way EVERYWHERE... and it is covering my lower back and starting to spread up my back... and I found a patch of it on my shoulders near my neck.... NOTHING I have done or that my Drs have prescribed me is working anymore to relieve the itching. I feel as though I'm going crazy.... I wake up a million and one times during the night because I am itching at it in my sleep....
I have read several sites that say that if the PUPPP is a severe case like mine then some Drs will induce you... I was wondering if anyone on here has had it as bad as me and if you were induced because of it... if so, then at what week did you get it, how bad was it, and what week were you induced????

I swore I never wanted pitocin near me again, but if I do manage to make it to term I am seriously considering begging for an induction because the only way to get rid of this is to have the baby.... I'm talking to my Dr about it tomorrow after I show her how much worse its gotten in the past week... and its only spreading faster and faster with each passing day....

(Call me selfish or whatever you want... tell me my baby's lungs wont be ready... [just so you know I had the steroid shots for the lungs at around 31 weeks]....
I know there will be at least one person that will end up throwing all that in my face... *shrugs* oh well... that's the internet for you... lol)

I had it, never heard of anyone being induced because of it. It was awful, but I dealt with it until she was born... I know your trying to keep her in there as long as possible so I know your not talking about having her now just to get rid of it, but honestly even if you make it to term, I wouldnt induce just for that. JMO

I saw a woman on one of the baby shows get induced because of it.....but I can't remember how far along she was. I'm sorry, it sounds terrible!

hey hunny, i can't imagine how u are feeling but you are not being selfish, just imagine how much stress ur going threw an thats putting stress on bubs so it's only normal for you to want to get bub out to make things better for you as then it'll be better for bub, 

bubs lungs will be fine, i had a steriod shot at 31 weeks when i had my first pregnancy my son ended up coming at 35 weeks an he was fine to breath on his own

Its the worst! I had PUPPP with my first pregnancy too the last month... but I only had it on my legs and the last week it started to spread up my belly... this time its a million and ten times worse and I just want to peel my skin off and step into a new PUPPP free pair lol.

Thank you mama... I hope so too lol. I feel Im slowly going crazy from it all and there is nothing I can do about it anymore... I have tried EVERYTHING... but you definitely give me hope that things would be good for little Asyia if she were to come soon   thank you for all your kind words and support   It means a lot to me...

One of my friends has is all over her body. She is having a c-section at 38 weeks though, so I don't know if they will induce for it or not. I have really sever allergic reactions during pregnancy and although they are very painful and hard to deal with it's not worth an induction IMO.

i had that rash with my first child it was the worst i couldnt sleep and all i wanted to do was take hot showers, ask your doctor and see what your options are good luck mamma.

how bad is yours? like where is it on you? mine is almost covering my entire body... im afraid in a few more weeks I will be completely covered from head to toe in this rash because of how much faster it seems to spread the further along I get...

my bff had pupps so bad the only place that didn't have a rash was her face. her doctor didn't induce her and she even went a week over due. some doctors are more sympathetic than others. they usually won't induce until 38 weeks

I had it and they still made me go until my scheduled c-section. Some doctors will but most wont, I know mine didnt
