Period like cramps

As of yesterday I started feeling some period like cramps. They come and go and aren't that strong, just bothersome. It also feels like something wants to come out [when i would have my period, it would be blood] but nothing has come out, no mucus plug, no discharge, nothing.
soooo ladies, I just want to know your experiences with this [if any] and if it means that i will have my baby soon.

Those sound like contractions to me... that's how I described them before they started getting REALLY painful lol... even then they still felt like period cramps to me. Sounds like you're getting close to labor!! Keep track of them and if they start getting stronger I'd call your doctor.

at first i was ruling out contractions because they don't feel so painful. but they get stronger? oh great, i can't wait. lol

I started having those same period like cramps Thursday. So Friday I was having those same period like cramps and then I started lightly bleeding. So I went to the hospital and they were contractions. While I was at the hospital i went to the bathroom and lost my mucus plug. And from there my water broke and I had my son. So you should time them.

They should be because I was 38 weeks and started having those same period like cramps. I would start counting them when they start feeling like your exact period cramps.
