Gift Ideas

posted 27th Oct
Anybody have any good ideas for neutral or male Christmas gifts??
Here's the story: My family is celebrating Christmas at Thanksgiving this year, and I need to get a gift around $20 to put in to a gift exchange. We take turns picking a gift from under the tree, and each gift is supposed to be a surprise. We can steal gifts from each other and such, and everyone goes home with one thing. It's hard for my mom and I to think of things that are around $20 that some of the guys might like, but could also be appropriate for some of the ladies too. We have some kitchen stuff and some board games...and we're planning to get some more stuff at a craft show. But that doesn't really cover the guys so well. The guys are pretty well set on their tools and stuff, so I have no idea...
Any thoughts??

I thought of gift cards...but that doesn't sound so fun! I guess if I put it in a box of rocks that could be interesting. lol. Sounds like something my sister would do.

Ooo...blankets! Maybe there will be a good one at the craft show. And DVDs maybe. I just don't know what DVD. Can't do the bar stuff since people are trying to cut back on their drinking.

You could make a few gift baskets with different kinds of themes- movie night, poker night, retro candy---just fill with things that match your theme. You could get some things at dollar tree- popcorn holders, candy jars, cards/poker chips.
