Labia tearing? (tmi?)

Just curious if anyone else experienced Labia tearing?
This is my second vaginal delivery, my son wasn't even really that big
but i tore up and down. shock:  My stitches are completely gone, i have no idea how many i had, but she was sewing me up for like half hour // 45 minutes it felt like.. Anyway, whenever i even think about having sex it starts to hurt really bad.. is this normal?! I'm kind of nervous that maybe i have damage to my clit. . . I know this post is kind of tmi .. but i'm hoping maybe somene will tell me it goes away?!

mine did. i had 17 stitches from inside my vagina to my labia. meh... it healed.

I tore on both sides and down the middle. We tried having sex 6 weeks after but it was still very painful. Finally around 8 weeks we had sex and I had no pain.

the left side of my inner labia is torn. I dont know why she didnt sew it when i had my stitches done maybe she didnt notice??? 

how long ago did you deliver? i had lots of small pretty much invisible stretch cuts that hurt even after my stitches werent hurting anymore. but i waited the 6 weeks to have sex (we did fool around a BIT before that) that being said though, I'm even tighter than before the baby, if thats something you may be worried about

Yeah i was worried about that.. a lot.. i got so freaked when she was sewing me up because i had no idea i tore so much, I delivered two weeks ago only.. so i still have some time   It sucks!! the stitches are i think gone, and the pain is gone too, but the clit still hurts sometimes   i seriously hope i don't have to wait no 8 weeks.

how long did it take you to fully heal? I know everyone heals differently but i'm just wondering.

yeah that was the worst pain for me. especially peeing OMG. but its only been 2 weeks you'll probably be surprised how much better you feel in another 2!

Yeeeah peeing sucks lol.. My body has always healed extreamly fast.. So i really hope in another 2 i'll be feeling a lot better

I tore my inner labia with my first as well. It was the only tearing I had and after she was born my doctor asked me if I wanted him to stitch it up since it was purely cosmetic and wouldn't affect anything else if it was left as it was. I let him stitch it up since it only took 3 stitches. So maybe your doctor didn't stitch that part since it's just cosmetic?

do you think its too late for me to get mine stitched since I had my baby 8 months ago? lol

Nope, it's not too late. They will have to freeze the area and do a bit of a cut and then stitch it so that it will fuse together properly.

When I got mine stitched it didn't heal properly because I think one of the stitches came out too early so I was left with a hole in my labia. I told my doctor about it when I was pregnant with Jason and he said that he could repair it immediately after giving birth, while he did any other repair work. It turned out I didn't tear when I had Jason so I told him not to bother since I didn't really want any more needles poked into me. So I still have a lovely hole in my labia. My doctor joked that at least I can put a ring in it or something without having to get it pierced! lol.

Yep, he does   He's seriously the best Dr. ever. I love him.

PS - we are always online at the same time. Our kids must nap at the same time or something!
