changing baby ~ help~

Went its time to change my baby girl ( 9months ) dipaer or clothes its hell!!! She wont hold still she trys to crawl away and she crys and bitches the whole time. Dose anyone have any ideas to help me making changing time better for the both of us?

Give her something to play with? a toy? that helps us!

i wish i did!!! thats exactly how it is with my son. I'm sooooo tired of it!! He puts up a fight everytime. Getting him dressed is the worse!!   ugh.

Mine does the SAME thing! It drives me insane. If its bottle time I give her a bottle while im changing her, if its not bottle time I give a paci. I have a couple little toys that I keep at the changing table only. She plays with them only while I am changing her clothes or diaper.

I know exactly what you mean. I can't even use my changing table safely anymore. We HAVE to do it on the floor because its such a struggle. Give her something to play with. Sometimes I even give Chase an extra diaper to examine, or the Desitin tube. Distraction is key!

When i worked at a day care, we kept toys and books at the changing station so that when we were changing them they could play with them. My daughter is only four months and she is rolling over like crazy now a days and i am having a hard keeping her still already. i just give her something to suck on buti can see that this wont keep her amused for much longer lol

I didn't know babies bitched. I thought they fussed.

I have started counting with mine, I started when he was about 11 months old, I count how many buttons we have to do, IDKW he loves it, I kinda sing it.

I use to give Kai something to play with while I changed him. He eventually got bored of that idea so now I just let him crawl/walk around nude for a 2-3 minutes and then he'll walk back towards me and let me put his diaper on.

id just give my son his bottle or cup

hes still like that now, and hes 2. its still hell, but now i just tell him hell get a booboo rash n that i dont want him to pee on the floor lol

I can give Jarrett toys a bottle he still tries to escape, this might sound mean but what I do is I sit on the floor and pin his arms down with my legs he thinks its fun and it makes my job a little easier!
