when should I start her on food?

My daughter is going tobe 5 months n the 15th of novemeber and I was wondering when I should start her on cereal or baby food she was born @ 32 weeks ?

8-9 months at the earliest IMO.

I started madison at 6 months old, She got cereal for the first week, and then i started on stage one veggies, and then fruits.

I started Aidan on cereal at 4 months and baby food at 4 1/2 months but he wasnt born early.

Jude was 32 weeks also, i'm starting her on rice cereal at 6 months and my doctor supports it.

6 months probably

I'm going by when I feel my son is ready and showing an interest in food, but no earlier than 6-7 months.

Ok great thanks the doctor told me when she was 9 months that just didnt seem right my son statred him at 5 months and he was born at 36 weeks

I would say for a preemie probably 6 mos.

I would talk to your pedi about, preemies have different timetables for everything and each preemies body develops differently. I would ONLY do it after discussing it with your pedi.

Bella is 4 1/2 months (2 months corrected) and we started her on food this week. Her pedi and her neaonatologist said to try it and see how she did and she did great so she gets ot two times a day. She only eats about 2 tablespoons full at a time. I think when you are comfortable and your pedi oks it.

We started Aubree at 4 months. She had cereal in her bottles to thicken her formula but that was only a tsp. every 2-4 oz. She was also born at 32 weeks and her pedi okayed it.
