If by "you", you mean me, I don't know cuz this is my first (and hopefully last) one. But in general, you are not more or less fertile after an mc I don't thing. However, I know that after losing a pregnancy, many women wish to be pregnant again ASAP. And also, my OB recommended condoms or abstinence, (no BC) until 3 months after the mc, so it will be much harder to behave since we haven't used condoms since high school and both hate them. grrrr.

My OB told me that when your body loses a baby it's like, "Wait a minute.. where did that thing go?" And since the hormones are still there, it sometimes produces more than one egg or more than one a month.

This is only my first but I have had several people tell me that yes you can get pregnant right away after a miscarriage. As for me personally, apparently I concieved the week after I passed everything from the last pregnancy. I didn't even know I was pregnant. I got really sick abouttwo monthslater and even had a two week period. Which was not normal and concerned me. They became worried it might be a problem from the last time so they did an ultrasound and low and behold I'm 8wk3dys. I am now 10w2d and heard the heartbeat for the first time which was encouraging. But yes,it is also true that you should wait to get pregnant after a mc,just to let your body heal.
