getting induced

this thursday!!! yey finally!  
any words of advise from mommys who have been induced before?
wat can i expect?

Don't expect for it to be really fast, sometimes it can take awhile. Mine took a day and a half. Good luck!

I've never been induced but good luck with your labor.

i had the best labor ever! but it was a long process. it took 16 hours before she came out so get some rest! oh and take 5 hours to shave tonight so you get all the hair because your who-ha will be out in the open for everybody to see. good luck mama!!

I loved my labor. I was in labor for about 12 hours, but everything was fine. Good luck.

I went in already at 3cm they started me on pitocin at 9am then I made it to 4cm by
12pm then they broke my water and took me off the pitocin because I started dilating REALLY fast and because my sons heart rate was dropping (turned out later it was because he had a complete knot in his cord, and his cord was a 2 vessel cord to begin with). But I made it to 10cm by almost 6pm and I pushed him out in 3 pushes. He was born at 6:02pm. So the pitocin didn't seem to dilate me too fast, but if they break your water it may help a lot. They told me I was made to birth babiesthough too haha but everyones different. But good luck with everything!!!!

Get all the sleep you can! I got induced this past friday @ 8 am, & didn't have my daughter until 1:23 pm the next day, & was only on 2 hours of sleep today. I was practically falling asleep trying to push. It takes time, just be patient & remember you will forget the pain once you see your son for the first time!

oh yea i forgot to add get all the sleep you can. like seriously sleep from right now until you go to the hospital because once your baby is here you will NEVER sleep again! lol. but im being serious
