I think, for those examples you gave, that that is just part of being human. What I was getting at (and failed miserably at explaining) was I guess a drastic change in ones behavior based on their momentary situation. It's that kind of fakeness that makes me wonder if I can trust that person.
I still don't feel like I'm explaining it right. I have a headache, I'll have to come back to this when I can think better.......
