Disney to give a full refund for Baby Einstein movies!

Disney is offering full refunds to people who felt they were mislead by the advertising campaign done by them to promote their Baby Einstein movies.

They are no longer allowed to be called "educational" and have been denounced for years Educational experts and the American Associate of Pediatrics who state that children under the age of 2 should not be watching television at all and that the videos offer no educational value at all.

Too bad I don't live in Canada.

I could tell they were a load of shit from the beginning.

My kids like the Little Einsteins movies. Whether they're educational or not means very little to me.

I read about it in my paper a couple days ago. I don't believe it is Canada only. I'm in Cali. I'm pretty sure its everywhere!

Even if I lived in Canada I wouldn't take em back! I love em and so does my baby girl! I can get a whole chapter in a book read while she winds down before bed! I love Baby Einsteins!!!

My LO doesn't even watch theBaby Einsteins he watches Little Einsteinsand he is 7 months old he really only like the opening song.

My son loves them to and he has learned alot from them. He knows signs from the videos and he has learned his numbers too.

that would be great. i wonder if you need receipts. my son barely ever watched them. he didnt like them when he was an infant and then they didnt keep his attention when he actually started to enjoy tv

People are ridiculous. They are always looking for ways to sue and blame other ppl for their ignorance. My daughter loves baby einsteins-i dontplay them for her for hours on end, but when i need a shower and my husband is on duty, she watches it and i get a shower. Do i think that she learns from seeing different shapes and puppets on the TV? probably not, but its DEFINITELY not hurting her. what do these parents expect? seriously!!!

I agree. I gave up arguing with people about it. Let's not take the time to sit down with our kids and read them a book or anything, let's plop 'em in front of the TV. When I need Eden to keep herself entertained I put on some poppy music and let her dance and sing to it while I clean...
