Yeah, my main concern was the 25 weeks along issue.



The girl that was asking the difference between checking your cervix and sex... well... none really other than with sex you're not going straight for the cervix on purpose.

I mean, besides the fact that all of the Dr.s in my OB group (who are all high risk) have told me it's safe - just don't stick my finger up there, gently rubbing the tip of your finger over your cervix is perfectly safe.Rigorous sex on the other hand, jabbing at your cervix is also fine (as long as not on pelvic rest, etc) so... whatever. Haha, it's funny how a little bit of info makes people adamant they know everything.

I know. It took me so long to get them liek this.

I am almost due, and recantly started checking myself... I only feel a rubber band thats almost as wide as my finger. Is that how its supposed to feel? I also resarched on line a lot, they said its good for a women who labor at home to know how to check yourself. Its also important to clean your hands before. I did it in the shower.

So far my self check hasnt changed anything... I had an appointment with my dc. and so far so good... But still zero dilated... SO... any other ladies getting closer to their due dates also wondering if it can be done ? Any expieriences ?
