ive talked to one other person that believes human spirit comes with the first breath? is it that same kind of thing?

I actually think that may have been me. Was it in an abortion thread? Because I think I remember talking to you about this before lol!

I like to think your spirit roams the earth and stays close to loved ones. Thats what i like to think of my dad. its much more satisfying to me than just "oh he went to heaven"

i also think our souls are our minds... so when we die they die, but yes, energy is transferred as our bodies slowly disintegrate.

I like that. I don't know what really happens when we die (other than our bodies rotting or just sitting in some fancy vase) but I like to think of different things. Like when we die, we leave carbon copies behind. We're still living without being alive. Or reincarnation. I love to think about the endless possibilities with reincarnation. What if I was once a royal queen or a freaking dinosaur.  

This is a topic I don't like to think about all too much....I just don't get it. I am not much of a religious person at all. But I question what happens after people pass. I wonder all of the time, how can we not feel ourselves living? I guess like some said...it'd be like sleeping, the unawareness feeling. And that sucks! I like the idea of reincarnation though...But I used to think of this when I was a little girl, since my dad died when I was 4. I wished Heaven were a place like Earth, the life as I know it...everything is the same, so my family/friends who have already died are up there waiting in a world which seems identical to now. I will go up to the same city, but my loved ones are all there, or we will wait for our later family to join us one day.But the only difference is it is peaceful. No bad people, no wars, no crime...just goodness. If this makes sense?
