Sex 4 weeks PP (TMI)

I had a 2nd degree tear when i had my son. the midwife that was in the hospital when i delivered and another one (mine was away) said that i could have sex after i stopped bleeding.. Well at 2 weeks PP i went to my midwife and i was still bleeding and she told me not to have stick anything up there yet..thinking because i was still bleeding... neways,
 I had sex tonight now that im done bleeding and now it looks like between my V and A it looks ridgey (if that makes sense) and a little swollen Like maybe i  tore. Also i'm bleeding a little bit from my Clit down.. Sorry TMI but should i call the doctors im freaking out now... what could happen? what will they do if i did rip open my stitches?

If you rip open your stitches they may make you get them again... depends on how much you tore again. But in any case...ouch!

You're not supposed to have sex until 6 weeks post partum, I'm not sure why your midwife gave you that info.

your not supposed to have sex til your doctor gives you the ok...
but midwife... i dont trust them nor like them!!!

YEa i just looked that up on here... I feel like a total dumbass now like i shouldnt have listened to them..

I never had a 6 week check up. They don't seem to do them here routinely. I asked for one and they just asked me a bunch of questions and then said "you're fine". My regular doc was away, so maybe that's why. I had sex before 6 weeks... and it only made want to not have sex ever again lol... it hurts  

It can look scary hun up until the full 6 weeks.

I had a bad tear and had sex 2 weeks post partum.............my husband was home for R&R his first deployment. Yes it hurt.

When they stitch you up, they don't use a thousand stitches, they spread em out and let the skin fuse on its own. I freaked myself out too looking in the mirror....I called the doc. Relax on the sex and warm rags and that Dermoplast spray. If its bleeding or seems to get worse, don't wait!

Its bleeding a little, not alot... is that bad? 

and they didnt give me dermoplast... do you know if they sell that at pharmacies?

It's gonna bleed, think about what happened......as long as the bleeding stops. It's sold in the first aid area. (walgreens/walmart) Make sure to read the warning signs before buying it!
