Have you been pumping?

If your milk totally dries up, you can rent a medical grade electric pump and start using it ever 2-3 hours. You can take supplements like fenugreek and blessed thistle. Basically the same things people do who have a low supply. There are probably more drastic ways of going about it if that doesn't work though.

are you pumping to keep it up? You can use suppliments that keep your supply up. My supply always seemed low and I used....now i lost it!!! It will come to me. Something thistle and you can drink a tea called mother's milk. If you go to a health food store or talk to a lactation consultant they could tell you.

Well when I first tried pumping in the hospital I couldn't get anything and the nurse said it will just take a few days.. Maybe if you just pump frequently to get milk supply going?

You dont get anything the first few days because it takes time for your milk to come in. At first it's just colostrum. If you aren't pumping then you WILL dry up. I say go rent a pump and start hooking up. It's the onl way to keep that milk coming besides nursing you're baby. If you're in the hospital for some reason they will let you borrow a pump to use to get the milk out and you can just give the baby bottles of breast milk until you're ready to feed them normally again.
