Yes, I think you would get a positive even with an ectopic. HCG still is in your system, the levels just don't double like they should, and are usually pretty low if I remember correctly.

I think you'd get a positive around the same time, but I'm not 100% sure. I have not experienced an ectopic personally, only read and heard about them from other women.

I would say you should be getting a + woth both by at least 6 weeks. Unless of course your numbers just dont double correctly.Some woman never get + on a test, rare but true.. Did you get a + ?

nope just missed my period for 6 days then it came after sex and i had all pregnancy symtoms im sick feeling right now and my neck was hurting yesturday im worried

I got a very clear positive test the day my period was due with my ectopic pregnancy.

I took three tests total that pregnancy, and all came back very positive. My numbers barely went up too. They were very low, but it doesn't take a high amount to see on a pregnancy test.
