poor little man..Friends baby

I dont know how to explan this but ill try my best! What can i do to help this girls baby! She lives with me and her poor son.Well kayla(mom) breast feeds her son(Elijah) well all she eats is candy and eats fast food 3 times a day, dosent drink water, Drinks like 5 energy drinks a day..smokes. When i watch him i try and give him a bottle but he will not take one.All the dose is cry he never stops crying.She yells at him telling him to shut up and stop crying she will throw him in the air..He is only 4 months old. He dosent get anytime to have belly time or even play.He cant sit up he cant hold his head. He dosent even look at you when u call his name! i feel bad for him bc i bet his belly hurts him all the time..Ohh and he throws up like scary movie throw up it can hit the wall..When they go some where she puts him in the front seat.Which to add its a truck so she sits up there too makeing no room to buck her or her son in! And they r gone 24/7..I feel so bad for this little man.. How can i help him.Or even tell her she needs to eat better.Cause when i tell her u shouldnt drink that or eat that she tells me i dont know wht im talking about.Cause her mom who has 7 kids and one on the way dose it to..ahhh sorry just a vent finaly can let it out

ew gross! give that kid a bottle..stat! I believe in some instances a bottle would be more pure than that crap hes getting!! at least he would be getting something pure and with good nutrition! I can only imagine my little boy being treated like that..breaks my heart! i feel guilty when i can't play with him whenever he feels like playing, but imagine not playing at all? awwww

I have but bc in oregon they have no foster homes for kids they wont do anything about it! They told me to keep him as much as i can and care for him.And what i mean by no foster homes is that there is way too many kids living on the streets with no homes and no where to go. The town i live in in small and really nothing..My uncle got CPS called and thy lived in a shad and CPS told him to get the window fixed and eveything will be okay..Its sad

I know right it is so sad i dont see how someone can be this way! Right now he is screaming his head off and she is playing Xbox...telling him to shut up..Ehhh she makes me mad! i dont see how anyone can do this to their kids

Throw up like that could me acid reflux, which would explain the crying...

Other then that CPS if she wont sit and talk with you and see your her friend and only wanna help.

I went to the Dr with her and b/c he is not losing weight he is not worried about it! but im gonna sit her down and talk to her.

I've already said this in one thread but I'll say it again in this thread. I am pretty sure you can't call CPS for this mom having a bad diet or smoking. It is not illegal. And Tossing a baby that is 4 months old up in the air might be dangerous, but if she isn't hurting the baby that isn't child abuse. Not buckling her child into the truck is illegal. I would call the police about that, not CPS. And when the police get involved and ticket her they may call CPS themselves. I didn't smoke, drink, or eat badly while I was pregnant with my son and he still projectile vomited poltergeist style lol. The baby's weak stomach may be affiliated with reflux and not the mothers poor judgment in diet. I would sit her down and explain that you have experience in parenting and your just trying to give her a little friendly advice, that way she doesn't feel like you are trying to tell her how to raise her baby and get defensive. Possibly purchase her some books on parenting, healthy breastfeeding etc. Good luck and god bless the baby.
