Baby shower?!

So it's still too early for one, but I've only lived in my area about a year and don't know many people. I'm terrified I won't even have enough to have a baby shower, even though a friend said she wanted to plan mine. Who would I invite? It's hard to meet people around here and I live in Fort Hood Texas. You would think I'd have a lot of army wife friends, but I don't because I'm so much younger than everyone else. What should I do? What did you ladies do?

I didn't have one.All the friends I had here at Fort Riley had all ets/pcs'ed. So what I did with my family/friends was save all the stuff they sent me and once I got everyones gifts I had everyone view my webcam so they could see me open them all.

I didnt have a baby shower. It is not the end of the world.

I got like 25 ppl and I'm thinking only 15 will show up if not less. I know ppl but not close enough to invite them. Am just gonna invite them n who ever actually cares will show up if not o well.
