you dont put it in their milk do you?
i used to put the mylicon drops in my twins bottles, figured it all worked the same. Well my pedi said that the milk breaks down the enzymes in the drops that actually helps the gas, so to give it to them before or after the bottle.

Also, what kind of bottles do you use? My babies had HORRIBLE gas, and i switched to Dr Browns bottles and it helped tremendously. They're a pain to wash though...

No I don't " Doc said 10-15 mins after a feeding to give them the drops. I use Platex Drop in bottles where you can push the air out! I'm beginning to think its the formula??

It's all natural. IMO it's by far the best gas relief product..It works for teething and colic too

I went thru bottles and bottles of Gripe Water with my second daughter. It really worked also Chamomile tea I would soak dried bunches of it in boiling water and let it sit for about an hour. It really helped and was a lot cheaper than the gripe water!

Thanks I'm so going out and getting this tomorrow!!! its worth the $ if it works, and if this was out when my son was an infant (he is now 7) I WISH SOMEONE would have told me he was colic!

Mommy I tried EVERYTHING and no drops or bottle/nipple changes worked, not even the gripe water. My babies were basically a screamfest for the first few months. It def was gas because they always were farting and then would stop crying for a bit. They were on Neosure the highcal formula for preemies, then finally the ped said we could switch to GentleEase by Enfamil and mix it to the higher cal amount. The ped office had the recipe to mix it to the right calorie formula. Maybe if nothing works...you can try that?

My girls also have gas and reflux! I love the Little Tummies gas drops. Although they have the same active ingredient as Mylacon. We also us the Enfamil Gentlease formula. They seem to pass alot of gas though!   I have used the Gripewater but girls seem to like the little tummies flavor better?!

My daughter has terrible gas too and she uses the Enfacare for preemies. We also use the drop in. I think for my little girl it's the formula. Just debating of keep using the gas meds which work and wait til her 2 mth appt in December or call and make an appt now.

Ya nothing its working here either I have used the gripe water for a few days now and seemed to work the first night but now they are the same. They are spitting up still and last night was the worst night ever!! I gave them gripe water drops and a few mins later they puked all over. I'm only giving them 1/2 tsp even though they are 1 mos and 1wk. Not sure if I should give them the full tsp?? Sense they are premies I asked the doc but they don't have enough info on drops...
