Kaileen (Kyleen)

i personally dont like either one it is a weird name and i was confused how to pronounce it. But that is just my opinion

My friend had twins last January and named her daughter Kaitleen, but spelled it Kaitlene.

BTW, I like Kailene better.  

well the reason i said it is because the spelling of a word effects how it is pronounced. i thought it was kaileen (kayleen).

I think it's pretty. Hubs and I always wondered how we would have spelled it. It was going to be Elliot's middle name had been a girl.
We would have named him Lilyana Kaileen.
I was thinking about how we'd never decided and I'm bored so I thought I'd poll   Besides, Kai means ocean in Hawaian and both of my kids have names that are tied to water. I hate when kids names have obvious connections or when people say "do my kids names go togehter?" However, I think it would be cute if they all had a subtle connection.
Elliot's named after Elliott bay in seattle
Piper wasn't named after but, there is a Piper's Creek in Seattle.
I think Kailene would tie in nicely with the accidental theme we've created.

It didn't occur to me that it could be 'Kay'. Just doesn't look like it.

haha yeah. I went to school with a guy named Kai and then I lived in Hawaii and it's all over the place there. I think it's a pretty name!

LOL I actually got it from the name Kai. I too went to school w/a guy named Kai in WA. Def. now something you hear every day up there. I tried to come up w/a girlier version of the name and this is what I came up with. When I was pregnant w/Elliot, I found out it was an already exsisting name. LOL I wasn't as original as my teenage butt thought it was. I still love it. I'm still late, still bloated and 1 test said negative. I'm starting to really think I am. I'll test again next saturday if I don't get my period by then.
