I don't know too much about it, I just know they have similar morals (I think?) and what I do know, I don't entirely agree with, which is why I'm not Mormon.

I'm thinking that her church could be a little bias when "teaching" about other religions?

I guess just the main stream ones, and it doesn't go in to detail, but it did spark in interest in some other that I looked into myself.

i always went to a baptist church when i was growing up , thats what sparked my interest in other religions.
i'm completly opposite from that now lol. i worship Isis now.
one religion i have not learned much about which i'd love to learn about is scientology.

I was raised LDS (mormon). I have not been to church for years, and yes there are some things I dont agree with. However, we have invited the mormon missionaries into our home recently, and my boyfriend went to church last sunday for the first time. While I am not active, my son is going to be blessed into the mormon church. If he wants to get back into church, dont judge him even though right now he is drinking, smoking, swearing, if he decides it is something he wants to do long term, he will stop those things. I would give your child a chance to learn about the religon, while there are things I dont agree with, I will not deny that the mormon church does have very good morals, and teaches children that their families are the most important, and that you need to listen to your parents, which is something I think all kids could benefit from. Give your child the choice to choose.

I'm not Baptized nor committed to one church but i do practice the Baptist faith. My SO is not involved in any kind of religion and refuses to be.

I would like to have my son Baptized, but my SO feels strongly about not.

I'm going to let my son decide when he is older, and if he wants to get Baptized we will go togeather, and then start going to church.

I figure my dad gave me the chocie I'll let my son have the chocie as well. Plus if he wants to go then I'll have someone to go with.
