Thanks! I found the baby led solids in there, and that's what we plan to do. It's what i did with my daughter too.

The appointment went well, but I DID get the whole "He needs to start solids NOW," that implies I probably should have started him already. And that we NEED tos tart with cereal, and then stage one, blah blah blah. Also, she was so quick to say "you mix the cereal with formula" uhhhh, no. My kid doesn't get formula, haha. Also, the questionaire that I filled out for 6 months had the questions "does the baby get 2-3 meals a day of solids" and of course it's no for him, and no was the BAD answer. Um, the appointment was for kids who JUST turned 6 months, and you expected them to be eating 2-3 meals a day?

Bah. lol. oh well.

My kid didn't even start eating 3 full meals a day until a year

We did the baby led weaning thing.... I think....
She sorta had purees but she didn't really like the food I made and preferred the soft chunks of food, but while she was still on bm/formula she just didn't care for it

Yeah, my oldest HATED puree's, so we started with soft foods she could feed herself. I tried to give the younger a taste or puree's and he was NOT having it, lol. He didn't push it out, just gave me the MOST disgusted look, haha. He was not a fan.
