im the strongest girl i know

Your room was all done n ready, your diaper bag was packed.
The carseat base was hooked in the car, now a baby was all we lacked.



We watched you grow from a cheerio, a mere flicker on the screen.
We knew you'd be a little princess, someday a little queen.



Everytime your heart was strong until once it wasn't there.
my body fell to the floor and I screamed "this isn't fair!"



The next few days were absolute hell except for seeing your beautiful face.
My dad was shot and power turned off, would anyone like to switch place?



I have good days and bad days but its a fact, everyday I grieve.
Knowing all I wanted was to be a mom, now I feel empty, so thieved.



I want to find peace in this hellacious life, I'm done feeling so sad. There is nothing harder than losing a child, no physical pain hurts as bad.



So everytime I've cried all the tears and I get to a brand new low,
I look in the mirror, pull myself together and say "I'm the strongest girl I know."

Thanks, its kinda random.. I guess I'm just getting close to revealing my labor story..its so horrible though, even the way I was treated, that putting it in a poem, with all the terrible things that happened omitted, it doesn't sound quite so bad.

You are by far, the strongest girl I know.
I hope that your days get a little easier.
I'm so proud of you, even though it is hard,
