period cause you to gain weight? my grandmother says it does. and i was thinking maybe thats why im having such a hard time loosing weight. what do you ladies think? does not having a period have anything to do with weight gain?

Yes you can maintain water so you have a harder time losing weight

Before I got pregnant with my son I would go months without having one and I would gain alot of weight due to all the water retention I believe that is what it is called
