advice for my friend

She has a stepdaughter that is ten. My friend just got a call from her teacher saying that she (the step daughter)was touching boys in innapropriate places and showing them her bra. My friend went through her stuff and found letters to boys talking about how she will kill them if they don't kiss her. One of them was a diary page that said "I want him to kiss him, but he won't kiss me. I'll just kiss him then. I want to have sex with him, damnit!"

My friend said that she has found letter like this since she was in the the third grade, (talking about sex with boys) when her and her husband got custody of her.

She asked me if I thought that this was normal. I have seen kids that were molested react that sexuallyas a child, but I'm really not sure if it is normal for a normal 3rd to fifth grader. Can you ladies help? Is this normal in any way.

That is not normal! I don't know what steps she should take from here, but I hope there is explanation other than sexual abuse, that is so sad  

That doesn't sound normal.  

It's normal to be curious, but to be aggressive doesn't sound right.

My friend wants to get the pedi to check her out to make sure that she's still...intact, but her husband won't let her

Wow my sister is 12 and dont even talk like that atleast i hope she is not or i would kick her ass. Sounds like some one was being molested

that's what I thought. I don't remember even being INTERESTED in boys, let alone being that agressive until my teenaged years

well even if she wasn't that doesn't prove anything. so I don't really blame him.

my friend's 11 year old is interested in boys, but it's in the shy, giggly teasing kind of way. Your friend's daughter sounds so aggressive and violent about it. the "kill him" part is weird... a girl that young shouldn't relate anything to do with sex to violence, that is what make me think of abuse.

that's what I thought. It seems entirely too agressive to be the usual 'crush on a boy' kind of thing. My friend wants to know how to stop the bahavior, but when the girl is confronted with the letters all she does is say that she didn't write that, even when it came from her diary in her handwriting.

I'd take her to a counselor. even if she hasn't been sexually abused it sounds like something else is going on.

I would get her looked at by a doc i dont care what my hubby says, and get her some counsling maybe

she's seeing one. She just closes up and will not say a single word during the entire session. the only thing that she said once was about the step mom's new baby. She always acted like she wanted a new baby sister, but after a therapy session, the therapist pulled my friend off to the side and told her not to let the daughter around the new baby alone. She may say that she wanted a new sister, but she was telling him some very angry and violent things that she would do to the six week old baby. Other than that, she hasn't said a word

WOW i dont no what too say maybe just keep reading her diary and maybe see will open up toosome thing in there or maybe ask her about it

I'm late, but thank god the terapist took her seriousley! This little girl sounds like she was at least sexually abused,maybe as well as mentally and physically.The aggression,the precociousness,the violence all poin to it.
Serious,serious counseling .And even if the little girl clams up at first,keep at it! Maybe a new dr if necessary ,but imo your friend needs to keep pushing the therapy until they find a solution.Good luck to her,and the girl.
