Happy Birthday Gunner .

I just wanted to say you are extremly strong and courageous . I lost my daughter in July, she was only two months old. I'm having some horrible time dealing with it, the thought of having another child, or even having sex actually makes me sick from time to time . It seems like with every month that marks the day since she's left me, it just gets harder and harder . I can only hope that I'm at peace with it, and at your level when July 2010 rolls around..

Thank you for sharing this.I agree,you have handled the worst a woman can experience with grace.It comes through in the loving words you write to your son. It might be strange cuz we haven't met, but I think of you and Gunner often and pray that your journey is laid with support and goodness.I have high hopes for your future .Blessings.

You all have truly been a blessing to me and it makes things easier for me to hear that Gunner's life is still touching so many people and that so many of you appreciate your time with your children that much more for knowing his story. Just wanted to say that I'm so sorry for your loss. Your story stuck out to me obviously because our sons share names...I too used it for its meaning of 'warrior'. He wears it well Mama, he was and is indeed a warrior. You are a beautiful writer...stay strong.
