Thank you   a lot of people think I took the easy way out but the surgery changed me for ever. I am almost four years post op now and I struggle with certain affects from the surgery. However, I am able to basically eat the same foods as before and almost the same amounts so now its up to me to maintain. I also had three rounds of reconstructive plastic surgery to look the way I do now. I had my boobs put back in place, a pound of skin taken off my arms, and 5 pounds of skin taken off in a tummy tuck. I am currently undergoing laser treatments on my arms to reduce the scars. So even four years later I am still dealing with the affects....its been a long journey. I also had two children in the middle of all this and lost every extra pound   Heres my bruised arms, I just had this done on Wed.

We are hoping in four months after all my laser treatments thescares will be so light people wont see them. Ive been through hell.

it wasnt a feeding tube, it was to drain the fluid from his lungs from what he swallowed during my c-section.

ooooooo no fun! I had a c-section too and I feared that. My son choked on fluid at one point and started to turn blue. My husband snatched himup and beat his back but when he turned colors I yelled RUN!! I forgot I was teathered to the bed by IVs and catherters and tried to get up and hit the floor like a ton of bricks. I was frantic and yelling...he ran into the hallway and yelled HELP. Right about the time they grabbed my son he worked it out and took a breath. All I heard was my husband scream HES OKAY!!! I sobbed, I was so scared....then I had to have my cath put back in lol. I think c-sections are awful, after all my surgeries it was the worst one ever!!!!! Im glad your LO was okay!! Hes cute!

i know, they say c-sections are one of the worst "major" surgeries. it was hell for the first week but after that i was pretty much okay.. but thank you! your LO's are little dolls too

thanks   what the reason behind yours? I had a tummy tuck (as I mentioned) about 6 months before I got pregnant. I planned the tummy tuck and the pregnancy but was told it wouldnt affect my baby. Turns out my surgeon did such a good job on making my muscles tight, that my son couldnt turn. He was breech at 39 weeks so....yup...another scar for Mommy lol.

talan was wayyy too big for me to have. he was an ounce away from 9 lbs! there was no way that child was coming out of me. ha

LOL did he have any other issues except the tube?

jaundice.. he had an infection from the fluids too. he had to stay in the NICU for a week

awww poor guy. My first had jaundice but didnt need to stay.

oh it was horrible. you would have thought they told me he had some kind of serious illness, I did not want him to stay at that hospital by himself.. i talked my doctor into letting me stay there for two more extra days then he finally had to kick me out of the hospital, lol.

I wouldnt have left no matter what...I wouldve slept in the waiting room lol. Sure!

Thanks for the people who gave me real advice. My Avi is an inside joke.   So glad people can call me a pig and make me feel worse.
