Does it ever get better???

posted 22nd Oct
My daughter is about to be 4 months on the 25th, and i am soo over the crying. She doesn't cry often, but it just sucks that she can't tell me whats wrong. I am wishing she could hurry up and talk aready. But everyone i talk to says that they wish their kid was 4 months again. So i'm basically just asking, what age do you personallythink is the best?

My daughter never had colic and still never cries. She's 5 months. Every age is the best age for me, then she starts doing something else. Like squealing when she sees me or her daddy and we've been out for a few hours. She's sleeping 9 hours at night...So every month is my new favorite month!

Sorry your LO is a crier, is she teething?

My LO is 9 months now, and I love that she's doing new things all the time, and she's so much fun, but I miss when she was a newborn, and slept a lot, and actually cuddled with me, and didn't fight me on changing her diaper, eating, getting dressed, etc.

I loved every stage with Sophia even the miserable days, i was blessed to be able to share with her. But right now I LOVE LOVE LOVE the 9 month stage. I do not want her to get any bigger I just want to freeze her as is

7 months I saw a significant change

Start talking to her now:
Say over and over again: ba ba (when you are going to give her the bottle)
and mama and dada..... point to things constantly and say what they are..... the sooner you do this.... the sooner she will pick up on it and communicate rather than whine.... when they get older and still cannot communicate, they whine instead of crying.... which is a little better but you can avoid it if you start teaching her early.... you'd be surprised how YOUNG they pick up on these things....

Well the thing is that she really isn't much of a crier. And she sleeps anywhere from 8-12 hours a at. It's not like i'm complaining. BUt it's just been lately. I thought she was teething but i don't see or feel anythingg, and the other day she cried alll dayy and anything i did she would not be quiet unless she was sleeping.

I give her cereal twice a day and even though alot of people say not to put cereal in her bottle i do. BUt only cuz that helps with her spit up. Cuz it never fails, she alwaysss throws something up after she eats.

I"m not sure. I think she does though. But from what i'm asked around there is nothing that i can do to help it. Unless any knows anything to help that.

is she fussy after she spits up? if so, she probably has reflux.

Sophia had it really bad. A couple tips is to feed less and burp often. Keep her elevated 45 mins after eating and elevate her crib so its at a 45 degree angle to sleep. Talk to your pedi about it, they would know more and might be able to give you a prescription to help out

No she's not fussy at all. She usually ends up babbling and laughing and what not.
