Anyone out there that is going through this? Please...

i'm small for right now but I never know what the next few months might bring. My weight fluctuates back and forth very badly. I'm consuming well over 4,000 calroies each day, yet I'm still losing weight. Right now I weigh 117 pounds...despite how much calories and fat I consume each day. I'm either too small or too fat...it's NEVER a middle ground with me. My doctor said my metabolism is messed up...but he can NOT explain what is wrong with me. They checked my thyroid about 2 years ago, and said my thyroid is fine. I'm so fucking tired of this yo yo weight b/s fuckery. I go from fat to skinny to fat to skinny all over again...back and forth. It's hell, I hate it. It's nothing they can do for it. Right now I'm skinny, but all of a sudden, I will start gaining alot of weight out of nowhere, then lose it, then gain it back again. Each "phase" can last from anywhere to 3/6 months-1 year. It has ALWAYS been like this since I was born, and no doctor has found the reason/cause for it.The smallest I have ever been in my "adult" life, is a little under 80 pounds, and the biggest in my adult life has been well over 300 pounds. Sometimes I can lose/gain 14 pounds in 7 days. I'm tired of dealing with this...so fucking tired. Is there anyone else out there that is going through this? When I'm in my "skinny" phase, I can eat ALOT and still lose weight, and when I'm in my "fat" phase, no matter how much exericse I do and watch what I eat, I will still gain. So there is no middle ground at all. Anyone else going through this? I have been going through this since I was born.

I'm not going through that, but is it related to a hormone inmbalance? It sounds terrible,I can't imagine what growing up must have been like going through that.But don't give up.
Sometimes it takes years to get the proper diagnosis.I know that's not comforting, but after watching "Mystery Diagnosos" on Discovery Health so much, I know it can happen.

There has to be some kind of help for you. I wouldn't lose all hope. Find out if you can see some sort of specialist in Metabolism disorders. Idk what else to make of it.

There was one woman who had severe endometriosis and it took years for a dr to actually take the time to figure it out.For something so simple,too.

It was hell growing up, and it is still hell right now. I seriously do not know what each month brings. In my closet I have clothing sizes ranging from double 00 to size 26.

I'm googling stuff right now,and a few sites have talked of insulin,benign tumors ,endocrine systems...theres a lot it can be.I can't believe no dr has done anything for you.

My doctor did try, but gave up. I just want to be a normal/average weight. I have been researching it but didn't find anything that seemed remotely related.

I eat a 16.3 ounce jar(1 pound) of peanut butter each day plus all the other food I consume...and I'm still losing.

my advice is to maintain a healthy, well balanced diet and stick at it, 4000 cals a day is ALOT, so I'd stick to a low amount and then your weight is less likey to yo yo. You probably don't give a shit coming from me given that I was the fat ass who motivated you but hey, thought I'd at leats try.
