15 month old trick or treat?

O.K. my son is turning 15 months on October 30th, and this year we are planning to take him around to a couple houses to "trick-or-treat" even though we know that he won;t be eating any of the candy, and he can;t really say "trick -or-treat" by himself yet...but I just can't resist showing him off and I figure my husband can have the candy or we can donate it to my nearly three year old godson. Do you guys think I am being ridiculous? We will probably just go to no more than five houses and then to my Dad's place so Grandpa can get some cute costume pics of his grandson. By the way Charlie is going to be Yoda ;).

I don't mind giving candy to trick-or-treaters of any age, young or old. The thing that irritates me is when people come and they're not dressed up!

Hell, we're going to the mall. I want candy. And I know people who work there, so I want to show him off too.

No! I wanted to take my son trick or treating but he's only 13 mos, and its kinda young. But I think 15 mos is good...

im taking my 13 month old lol! Well im not gonna have him waling but ill take him in his little car so he can join all his little cousins... although i have a feeling he's gonna freak out with a few of the costumes  

my daughter is only 8 months and shes going but i also havea 8 and 12 yr old. but no i personally think its cute. I know too that daeja wont be able to eat the candy but my other two will and she is gonna be the pink carebare so cute!! Have fun!!

Ok cool, so I won't be such a weirdo then ;). My husband and I are looking for grown-up Star Wars costumes to match him, but we will see ;). At any rate we could all go to Comic-Con next year and further my son's descent in to dork-dom ;).

I'd take him. We went last year when my son was almost 9 months old. We just went around the mall. Like you, it was mostly to show him off in his costume and just to get him used to the experience.

Haha, that's why I'm going for real this year with him. I'll let him have a little of the candy this year, but by far most of it will be going toward his pregnant mama! lol

My son will be 8 months, and we're taking him with his 17 month old cousin. lol Mommy gets the candy this year.
