Teething genetic?

Okay.... this might be confusing.
My daughter, Liz will be 11 months old on the 26th. She has 2 bottom teeth, and right now looks like a lil' vampire w/ her fangs. Well, the rest of her top teeth are coming in as well and are popped through her gums (w/ no crying, fussiness...nothing!! Its amazing..). Well, my husband's ex has a 4 year old son, and my husband could be the dad, but the kid has a dad since birth and well, we dont want to confuse the kid and take him away from his dad, the kids mom (hubbys ex) is such a bad mom..alcohol, drugs...etc. The kids dad has primary custody. The kid looks like a mirror image of my husband at the same age. Well, we've seen pictures of this kid and the way his teeth came in at the same age.... from month to month and its the same pattern that Liz's teeth are coming in.

Is it genetic? Sorry if its confusing....

Sounds like it's genetic. Get a DNA test done to see for sure. You never know what conspiring women are capable of...

according to various sites on google teething is genetic but more commonly affected by age, gender, and ethnicity.
