I'm not a fan of that spelling, mostly because we pronounce it Sigh-Rus, not Sigh-Ris.People give me funny looks and tell me I'm just emphasizing the Rus to be different, but I naturally say it that way

lol, don't you love how hindsight is 20/20. I get people all the time why I spelled his name wrong and proceed to tell me it's spelled Cyrus. Maybe I am odd, but I really hate the way that looks. I love Billy Ray, but I could never stand how his last name is spelled, lol. I do like Cyris in that it's different, but personally it's not for me and neither is Cyrus. The odd thing is that when we picked the name I just assumed it would be Syrus from the start, but Luke wanted Syrus and I told him if he did that to him I was giving him the middle name Kermie =]. Mommies ALWAYS win, lol
