Restraining order

My MIL is coo coo and its a long story whats going on but she keeps texting me and calling me and leaving me voicemails and telling me if SO doesnt call her back that "there will be serious consequences but not in a voilent way" Can I get a restraining order for myself and LO I really want nothing to do w/ her and dont even feel comfortable being home alone she's nuts. Anyone know anything about this???

Will that not cause a conflict between you and your husband?

You'd be better off blocking her number and telling her you got rid of your cell phone, so if she needs to contact her son she can do it directly.

No. I couldnt even get a restraining order against my mothers friend who was at my house and threatened to kick me in the face AND im pregnant....judge wont grant it

No you need more for a restraining order. I couldnt even get one on some guy with a criminal reccord who kept showing up at my apartment at 3 am screaming at me and banging on my windows to come out to him.

I bet they will just tell you call your mother in law back. They asked me if I asked what the guy wanted!! Wtf cares what he wanted, I don't know who he is !! lamo.

i dont think that is grounds for a restraining order....but you should call the police and tell them she is harassing you. That way it is on record that she is continuously harassing you.
