I don't think their "stealing" it. They like it just as much as you did. Nothing wrong with that. Its a beautiful name, i would be proud.

I have met quite a few Haleighs.. well Hadleys. Its a pretty traditonal name in the south.

People you know in real life or you see the name a lot on here? As long as there aren't a million Hadleighs you know in real life then it wouldn't bother me. BTW, the name is adorable    !

I honestly looked at the list of most popular names and crossed off all of them that were on my name list until I got to like 300. Corbin is suprisingly rare in america I guess!

I tried so hard to pick a name that no one else would have. It took me until i had her to find a really uncommon cute name. I feel like i failed on that.

rename her "i was the first hadleigh"....that'll quail that storm.

then you can change your name to "creater of the wonderful name hadleigh" and youll keep your street cred too

Someones name, helps define who you are in my opinion. Don't take that away from your daughter, just b/c your hearing the name more often. Thats going ot happen with ANY name. Think of the lead singer of POD, who thought Neveah was so original. Not anymore.

It just pisses me off. one girl on here PT'd me and told me she didnt have a girls name and she thought my daughters name was cute so she asked if i had any suggestions and i gave her a list of names. The next days she made a post "we have a name!" Come to my suprise, i opened the post and it said HADLEIGH! spelled exactly the same. Ohh man was i mad. but she ended up naming her daughter something else. thank god.

i feel as if her name is Kayden, Caiden, Kaiden, Caden, Kaden, Kadyn, Cadyn. OMG.
