I read through most of this, you are never going to find a name that at some point in the history of the world doesn't become popular. Mom said when I was named she hardly knew any Melissa's then the name exploded. That is just the way the world works, we tried to pick a unique name for our daughter, Ayla, we have met about 3 people on here with that name but not many. But who knows when she is 40 it could get crazy popular, you gotta just chill. My son has a fairly popular name, Owen, but we named him after my dad, it held meaning I don't care how popular it is. Your daughter won't either.

Why? I didn't use certain names because I didn't like them. She doesn't like the name Caden (and its various forms). Why is that ridiculous?
