35 weeks question

So. I'm reading the little information section on BG about being 35 weeks. It says Contractions should be increasing? I'm feeling NOTHING. OB said today I am already 1 cm dilated.  I never felt contractions with my last one either, I actually ended up in the L&D for my induction and they asked me how I was dealing with the contractions. I didn't even know I was having them. So, this sounds wonderful to me, no pain. BUT,  how am I going to know when I'm really in labor? I didn't ask my OB because I didn't think it was an issue I wasn't having any contractions yet. He didn't seem to be concerned. Also, when did you start dilating? He said he still doesn't expect me to go into labor until around November 15th or so?

I've been 1 cm since 35 weeks

my doc asked me the same thing and my answer was always "i dont have any" but i was 3 cm dilated and 80 % effaced...but damn i KNEW when i was in real active labor, it was awful!!!

I don't ever feel any contractions.. I've felt a few BH but that's it.

At 35 weeks I was 2 cm. dilated and 50% effaced.. I got checked again today and I'm still the same.
