bottom lip is purple.. help

ok so my son's bottom lip is purple in the middle of his lip. which freaks me out because purple lips indicate circulation/oxygen problem ..... so i called his pedi and they're supposed to call me back so i can go in, well i called an hour ago and they still haven't called back and his lip still looks purple..

has this happened to anyone else? should i really worry?

Blue indicates an oxygenation problem. Could he have bumped it?

Lack of oxygen would turn blueish.

wrap him up  my lips use to turn blue when i was cold. and also move him around get his blood flowing. it said in my "what to expcet in the first year" that there circulatory systems arn't well developed and sometime blood can pool and not flow right .. if ya move him around and it should get things flowing and color should return to normal if not ... call back

nope he didnt bump it.... it turned this way right after he ate his baby food so my friend said it might be from him sucking the last bit of flavor off his lips? but im on the line w/ the pedi right now.... gonna try to get him seen right now or tomorrow morning....

Liv sucks her lips sometimes and it bruises a little.
