SHE'S COMING HOME FROM THE NICU!!!

Background info:
I had my baby girl Sept 21st at 30 weeks gestation. She weighed 4lbs 1oz and was 17in long. She now weighs 5lbs 10.6oz!

Last night when we went to visit Alison, in the NICU they had us watch a cpr video and said as long as Alison does well through the night then she will be coming home with us in the morning!!!! I am so excited/nervous that my stomach is upset, I feel so sick. Plus I didn't wake up for my alarm to pump, so I'm a little engorged and that makes me queasy too And it really makes me nervous that I ignored my alarm, I can't do that when she is home. I'm going to have to change it to something loud and obnoxious. (Atleast I got a little extra rest to be ready for her though-silver lining!) I am so freakin excited! I'm going to have my baby girl, and I'm going to be able to cuddle her whenever I want! And no more freaking wires getting in the way. Today Is a happy day! (It is also Alison's 1 month birthday, and my parent's anniversary!)

when i needed to get up and there was no way i could let myself hit snooze, i broke out my old alarm clock that i suprisingly still have after all these years. it's from the 4th grade, winnie the pooh and is the loudest most obnoxious thing you've ever heard. i also put it across the room so i actually have to get up to shut it off.

Your story is so familiar. My nephew was also born at 30 w & was 4lbs 1oz. 17 in. He came home on his due date though.

aww thats awsome Moma, i know the feeling and its so amazing. my daughter was early and it wasthe best day of my lifewhen i got to take her home.
