what a bad mommy I am

I know the new baby will be here soon so I let my 7 year old stay home with me today.....I miss her and know that once the baby comes I will be busy so I wanted some mommy and Emily time  

I did the same with my kids, I tried to spend as much time as possible with them.

I don't think that is so bad. When I lived with my dad, he would allow me to have a ''mental health day each semester'' which meant just taking a break and sitting at home. Many wouldn't approve but I think that's okay especially since you need to spend time with her!

that doesnt make u a bad mommy. i think that makes u a damn good mommy for trying to spend as much time as possible with your first child.

I have been trying to spend extra time with both my kids. My son was home sick for a week so we got to hang out a bunch...not under the best circumstances but we still had some time together.

Awww I think that's great that you still take time to let her know that you still love her and she's still special even though there is a baby coming. Kids need that =]

i think that it is great that your doing that. you should get the whole family together and try to go out and do something fun (sorta like a "baby-moon"). but thats if you have a little extra money.

Thank you. She is very sensitive and needs lots of extra loves. she was upset the other day cause she said the baby gets everything now and he isn't even here yet. She also asked me if he needed to pack his stuff b4 he comes out I said what kinda stuff and she said you know his lamp so he can see. I LOVE her soooo much

we have been going on family walks and having a family movie night.
