How much does your 5 yr old weigh?

My sonis 57 lbs & 46 & a half inches tall & someone told me he is over weight. So im just curious how much other 5 year olds weight.

My daughters 49 lbs. I cant remember how tall she is though. At WIC they told me she was "overweight" too. But i really dont think she is at all

My 5yrold is 43lbs. and I believe 44inchs. She is in the 75% all the way across.
Is that your 5yr old in your avi? if she he dose NOT look overweight. He looks perfect!

When my little sister was 5 she was about 30lbs
She's turning 11 and is only 70 something now.

My DD is 4 1/2 and weighs about 35 pounds. Shes 42 inches I think.

Judging by your avi picture, he's just fine. "Overweight" is totally overused...  

My son is 47 inches tall and 45 pounds.

My daughter was 42 lbs at 5 yrs old, she is now 44 at 6. And she is 47 inches tall

I apparently have the lightweight of the group. My four year old is 42 inches tall and weighs just shy of 35 pounds. He was 30 pounds at 3, so given this recent pattern he will be just shy of 40 pounds when he hits 5. But he is a slight kid (has small shoulders, etc). His cousin is much taller and has a bigger frame and weighs somewhere between 45 and 50 pounds. He is six months shy of being 5.

Thank you ladies! The doctor said he's just fine with his weight & height I just got curious when someone said he was looking chubby. =/

I was told my son was underweight. No matter what someone will have something to say about the way you or your children look... At WIC the nutritionist told me my son was "awfully thin" while his doctor told me he was healthy as a horse 2 weeks later.

My son looks like he chubs up just before he goes through a growth spurt. And by that, I mean I can only count most of his ribs, not all of them   He is so skinny, but that's how his dad and I were. If your Pedi is fine with it, then ignore them!

I was like that as a child they could not get me to eat & had me on some weigh gain meds (don't remember what it was) they even accused my mom of not feeding me   I think I may have messed up on my sons weight I need to weight him when he gets home from school it maybe 47lbs not 57 lol

Yeah, my mom said people always accused her of not feeding me. And I can see that hapening with my son. But w/e. He eats and is healthy. That's cool too, regardless, if he looks fine to you, then he is probably fine!
