It makes no sense to me why women don't just try it. Its so much better for your baby than formula. I understand if you could'nt breast feed because of complications or adoption, but why is it that big of a deal to try it. It frustrates me i tried getting one of my friends to try it with her newborn wheni went to visit them and she was embarrased by it, it's trully sad your stripping your baby from a wonderfull gift.

I love breast feeding and im shore alot of women don't know 4 in 1,000 babies die every year from not breast feeding and breast feeding mothers breast cancer drops 40%.

It's just sad women don't try it considering the national average is 2 or 3 years old and our national avg is 1 years old.

Babies were meant to breast feed.

I smell drama brewing

I love breastfeeding, too. Besides the fact that it's super easy and I don't have to clean bottles it's so good for my baby and she LOVES it. I love the bond, too. It's such a precious gift that I can give her..how could I deny it? The thought of giving her powdered formula grosses me out.

I had never even given thought to trying it with my daughter.... In my family's veiw no one did it, they thought it was disgusting... So i just never wanted to try it. but when i got pregnant on my son i thought about it and it does save alot of money.... I love the feeling, the bond...

I am totally gonna breast feed, but I can understand why most women wouldnt do it...really its kind of their own choice...Not everyone raises their babies the same, why should they feed them the same??

I cant see myself waking up in the middle of the night to go prepare a bottle, to bring it upstairs to feed my LO, then bring the bottle back downstairs, only to repeat in a few hours.
I would rather wake up, whip out my boob, feed him, then go back to bed! lol

Boobs are meant to be eaten from.  

If nothing else, I breastfeed so I don't have to smell formula. I hate the smell of it for some reason.

I remember being in thedoctors office, and there is nothing worse than someone telling you to breastfeed the baby, even though I am, I am doing it because I want to try it...If I dont like It, Im not gonna do it, but Ive always thought it was shit how they would try to make moms feel bad for not breastfeeding..

It was annoying when people would ask me but i'd tell em the truth if i didn't like it or i ever wanted to quit i atleast tried it..
